The Stackyard Nursery is about our passion for good food, beautiful gardens and wonderful hand crafted products. Our belief is that we should all do what we can to support our local communities and reduce our impact upon the environment.
Our concept is to build a facility were the local community can buy local produce, handmade goods and enjoy healthy and tasty food. On our land we will be growing specimen plants for gardeners and food to supply our shop and restaurant that will also be a facility for talks, demonstrations and exhibitions.
We are currently asking for planning permission to build a barn and potting shed on the site. However, in the interim, we will be working from temporary facilities to start serving the local community. These are now open 7 Days a week 10am -5pm please come and visit us.
You may even wish to contribute and article yourself about plants, Mendlesham or the local wildlife.
